first visit to Akshays new home
As we were about to come to USA for a stay with akshay and gayatri, they had specifically taken a more bigger house nearby their old one, to facilitate our stay more comfortably along with them in city of Chandler, state of Arizona. They have taken on hire two bhk spacious flat with all the amenities provided in the society named as Ventura Apartments. A well maintained society with all requisite facilities along with adequate parking for cars of both of them. The flat was on first floor and as such not much difficult for us to climb the stairs.
Akahsy along with Gayatri drove us from Swami Narayan Temple, New York to his homestay in Chandler, Arizona State. It was a long drive and as such Akshay and Gayatri both of them handled the duty of driving very efficiently, smoothly.
When we had been in New York on our arrival to USA, i was amazed to see the American flags hoisted on many houses, offices, even shops etc. On enquiry with akshay, it was revealed that anybody can hoist USA flag on his apartment, premises, shop,business without much issues. So nice to know about it. While in India Flag Hoisting is a very special event restricted to few occasions and done with much pomp and show, many a times for getting political mileage and benefits by making a show of individual nationalism. I adores the public of USA for their act of flag hoisting personally.
When we came near the house of Akshay , Gayatri immediately got down of car, went ahead, open the door and was ready with preparation to give us grant ceremonial welcome at their home. I was really very much surprised and admired her act of welcoming us. Gayatrai was well prepared with a diya lighted in tabak in her hand with haldi and kumkum, akshatas of rice etc. When me ,vandana and akshay were on the main gate of the house, gayatri welcomed with waiving diya in religious reverance and applying kumkum tilak of forehead of both of us.
I am very glad to see that the new flat taken by my son is on main road, near the market area, with all the facilities within the flat and also in the society campus. There is beautiful swimming tank and also gym for doing daily exercise. Very well maintained clean and beautiful too.
They had taken great pains in shifting all material from earlier flat to this new one. In USA no help is possible for such work, and has to be done self. I wondered how both of them managed this all. It is not a easy task.
After coming home we had a rest of few hours and then left with great enthusiasm to visit the Times Square of New York.
