Arizona to Las Vedas - Wonderful Journey.
We drove to Las Vedas from Arizona by the Car owned by Akshay and driven happily by him and his wife Gayatri. It was a big journey about seven hours from Home. As both of them were expert we could manage the travel time properly. On route we had two breaks for tea, coffee, cold drinks, snacks. All along my journey in USA right from Mumbai to New york and everywhere else i preferred Apple Juice everywhere. It was fine, comfortable and enjoyable every time i had it.
On route we could see different varieties of Cactus spread everywhere on both sides of the roads. One cannot imagine the number of cactus one can look at while travelling. I had seen many giant size cactuses on route.
Further it was amazing to see the number wind mills on route, used for generation of electricity on massive scale. The Government in Arizona has made a best use of hill tops, land of sands and whatever soil they have to install maximum number of wind mill turbines. We also could notice feeders, and other related equipment, poles and massive network of wires for transmission of electricity from the generation points.
Similarly on route from Arizona to Las Vedas we had seen large number of solar equipment s, solar panals in big boxes types, installed all over the land . Miles and miles or kilometers we could see such impressive show of solar panels intended to be used for power generation. It can be seen that maximum use of available natural resources is done here for the betterment of the locality and industries working there. Really very amazing and remarkable.
Could not resist the comparison with indian situation and total apathy on the part of government - at state and national level to maximize the use of natural resources for real development work.
On route we could see beautiful landscapes of variety of hill tops - in different colors, shapes spread over a very large landscape. The sunny weather and white, blue, black, red hills around were really mesmariszng. Further we could see such a big canvass of sky with beautiful shades of blue, or sometimes black, at times very much colorful, even seen rainbows in the sky, without rain at any time.
