San Diego University visit
We went to San Diego university by road by akshay’s car. It took about 7-730 hours to go. My son and daughter in law, both were driving very nice. On route we had two halts for some snacks and drinks. BY the time we reached there, it was nearing evening. When we left Arizona, changed the state boundary, we could feel change in temperature, we could notice some fall or reduction, which was very much delightful. Though we could see Big Hill Tops all around with black, white, blue shades, initially full of Cactuses in arizona, and thereafter we could notice different variety of trees. The hills were full of greenery.
On long journey we could notice very good resting arrangement made by government at different location. They provided separate Toilet blocks for men and women, in very neatly constructed big structure, with all the facilities like water, soap, paper etc. Outside there were some benches for rest , recreation, or eating some snacks. There were generally two big freezes, or cupboards full of variety of food items kept for visitors. People could avail them after making requisite payments. Lot of brands of cold drinks, energay drinks were also kept ready for people. Further there was separate parking arrangements to very large size trucks, tractors with heavy machinery and trollies along with them. We had always many truckers, or trolly drivers taking rest at these resting points.
As we entered the San Diegeo University, the atmosphere was very much pleasant. It has a very big campus with so many different departments, housed in separate buildings.T he University of San diegeo is a private catholic research university located in Alcala par, California, known for its picturesque campus, strong study-abroad participation, and commitment to community service. University is famous for its special programs on finance, commerce, business administration, psycology, political science , biology and neuroscience.
University is famous for its Spanish style of construction and a very big campus, full beautiful constructions of buildings, trees, gardens, fountains, very scenic cheerful atmosphere. We enjoyed the most serene, calm, beautiful atmosphere. Also had a photo sessions at many beautiful points including the colourful fountain.
The campus features 16th-century Spanish Catholic-inspired design, meticulously kept gardens, and tranquil courtyards. The University of San Diego (USD) is a private Catholic institution that leans moderately liberal or moderate overall, rather than strictly partisan.University of San Diego, is lighting the way forward by empowering students to become compassionate leaders, ethical changemakers and engaged global citizens.
San Diego city is ranked third happiest city of USA as per recent survey conducted by a british think tank. San Diego’s universities are world-famous for their Spanish-influenced architecture rather than Swedish:
San Diego State University (SDSU): The historic core of the campus features classic California Spanish Mission-style architecture, characterized by white stucco walls, arches, and red-tiled roofs.
University of San Diego (USD): The entire campus is built in a uniform, highly intricate Spanish Renaissance (Plateresque) style. It is frequently ranked among the most beautiful campuses in the United States.
We had a very good walk in calm, serene atmosphere in the university campus. Much impressed by the greenery, gardens, ponds, fountains, buildings and total atmosphere.
